Thanks for your help with this particular chipset, I've been having a lot of trouble. Most recently, I tried what you suggested above, but after rebooting the system fails to find my graphics card and so it loads the wrong resolution, and the wireless still doesn't work properly. How can I go back, undo the damage? I tried unchecking the repositries, running "sudo apt-get update" and rebooting, but that didn't seem to work. Any way to go back? Thanks.
