Web Ontology Language (OWL) is a W3C standard RDF vocabulary extension for a knowledge-based description logic derived from DAML+OIL.

The Dublin Core Metadata Initiative seeks to provide industry standard base vocabulary for describing resources.
4   Link   Friend of a Friend
The Friend of a Friend (FOAF) Project develops a commonly-used RDFS/OWL vocabulary/ontology specification for expressing relationships between people.
5   Link   Simple Knowledge Organization System
SKOS provides a model for expressing the basic structure and content of concept schemes such as thesauri, classification schemes, subject heading lists, taxonomies, folksonomies, and other similar types of controlled vocabulary. Useful for describing models that have some hierarchy and structure but are not sufficiently discrete and formal to map directly into OWL.
6   Link   vCard RDF Encoding
This is a W3C Note specifying an RDF/XML encoding for vCard profiles, providing a consistent description of persons using the existing semantics of the vCard standard.
7   Link   RDF Site Summary
This is the RSS 1.0 branch that was forked by the RSS-DEV Working Group and includes an RDFS vocabulary specification. RSS is used for news syndication/aggregation purposes.
8   Link   Atom Syndication Format
This is the AtomOwl Vocabulary Specification, which provides an OWL ontology model for the Atom Syndication Format (RFC4287).
9   Link   Semantically-Interlinked Online Communities
SIOC Core Ontology Specification - an RDFS/OWL vocabulary/ontology for describing the main concepts and properties for online communities.
10   Link   Description of a Project
DOAP is an XML/RDF vocabulary for describing software projects.
11   Link   Nepomuk Ontologies
Nepomuk, the social semantic desktop project, has a collection of ontologies for a user's personal information, e.g. files, contacts, messages etc.
12   Link   RDF Graph Patterns & Templates
This vocabulary defines terms used to describe RDF Graph patterns and templates as used in RDF Query languages (e.g. SPARQL) and elsewhere.
13   Link   Vocabulary of Interlinked Datasets
The Vocabulary of Interlinked Datasets (voiD) is a vocabulary and a set of instructions that enables the discovery and usage of linked datasets. A linked dataset is a collection of data, published and maintained by a single provider, available as RDF on the Web, where at least some of the resources in the dataset are identified by dereferencable URIs.
14   Link   Basic Geo Vocabulary
The Basic Geo Vocabulary is a simple RDF Schema vocabulary for representing latitude, longitude, and altitude information in the WGS84 geodetic reference datum.
15   Link   Biographical Information
BIO is a vocabulary for biographical information. It is used a lot in FOAF files.
16   Link   Web of Trust
The Web of Trust (WOT) ontology is intended to enable the use of public key cryptography to digitally sign the contents of RDF documents.
17   Link   Creative Commons
The Creative Commons schema lets you describe copyright licenses in RDF. It is among the most widely used RDF vocabularies today.
18   Link   Display Vocabulary for RDF
Fresnel is a simple, browser-independent vocabulary for specifying how RDF graphs are presented. It is being developed by participants of the Semantic Web Interest Group.
